You’ve outgrown your systems.

Maybe your ERP is held together with spreadsheets and workarounds. Maybe you’re scaling into new markets and your operations can’t keep pace. Maybe you’ve been told you need “digital transformation” and you’re not sure what that actually means, let alone what it should cost.

After 25 years and $500M+ of technology programs delivered in 10 countries, across 4 continents, here’s what I’ve learned: most companies don’t need transformation. They need modernization. A clear-eyed view of where they are, where they’re headed, and which investments will actually get them there.

Selva Advisory was built for that kind of change. Senior experience from day one, with direct accountability through to the outcome.

Strategy & Execution

No handoff between strategy and delivery. The person who designs the approach is the one who makes it work.

Leadership Velocity

Senior decision-making embedded directly in the engagement, so the distance between conversation and action stays short.

Accountability

The person you hire is the person accountable for the outcome, from start to finish.

Technology is rarely the problem

Twenty-five years across financial services, public infrastructure, manufacturing, and high-growth startups. The same pattern appears every time, and it’s almost never the technology itself.

Most engagements start in one of two places.

THE SITUATION

The roadmap exists on paper. The vendors are engaged. But the results aren’t materializing, and no one can explain why clearly enough to fix it.

THE OUTCOME

Establish where the investment is actually going, what’s blocking results, and what a credible path forward looks like. Business outcomes first. Technology second.

THE SITUATION

Milestones are slipping. The status reports are optimistic. And the people accountable for delivery can’t give you an honest answer about when it lands, or whether it lands at all.

THE OUTCOME

Diagnose what’s actually broken, rebuild governance that gives leadership real visibility, and produce a stabilization plan credible enough to restore confidence.

No technology leader? That changes everything downstream.
THE SITUATION

The business is moving fast. Technology choices are being made by default rather than design. And the cost of getting this wrong, in time, money, and credibility, is compounding.

THE OUTCOME

Senior technology leadership embedded in your business on a retainer basis. Strategy, vendor decisions, team structure, and board readiness, without the full-time cost.

AI-NATIVE DELIVERY

AI expertise, built into the engagement.

When modernization or governance engagements surface AI opportunities, SAP-certified expertise and hands-on experience come standard. Opportunity assessment, use case prioritization, governance design, vendor evaluation. Not a separate workstream. Not another pilot. A practical layer built into the engagement you already need.

Challenge
One of Canada’s largest commercial banking transformations, spanning multiple years and business lines with 75+ integrated systems, needed a governance structure that could maintain coherence across a half-billion-dollar program without becoming a bottleneck.
Action Taken
Established the Design Authority function, built enterprise integration governance, and maintained delivery discipline across the full program lifecycle.
Outcome
Technology coherence maintained across all business lines through to delivery.
Challenge
A national SAP S/4HANA implementation had stalled. No integration governance. Eroded executive confidence. No clear path to go-live.
Action Taken
Re-established accountable leadership, built environment governance and release management frameworks, and presented a stabilization strategy directly to the executive committee.
Outcome
Confidence restored. Successful national go-live delivered.
Challenge
A major transit authority needed to digitize governance across a $7B capital portfolio, moving from fragmented reporting to enterprise-level visibility.
Action Taken
Directed a 20-person international team through implementation of enterprise PMIS, delivered executive portfolio visibility, and doubled engagement scope through negotiated change requests.
Outcome
Zero post-go-live disruption. Full portfolio visibility for executive decision-making.
Challenge
A global industrial manufacturer needed to integrate ERP and manufacturing execution systems across Canada, the United States, and France, including a parallel AWS cloud migration and SAP platform upgrade.
Action Taken
Led a 25-member cross-border, trilingual team through full integration, delivering on schedule with stable operational transition.
Outcome
On-time delivery. Stable transition to new manufacturing and ERP environment across three countries.
Challenge
A Canadian retailer’s first international expansion into Latin America required a full-cycle SAP implementation across a multi-company, multi-currency operation, replacing largely manual supply chain processes.
Action Taken
Relocated on-site, led the supply chain technology stream, and delivered enterprise-grade logistics governance across four countries.
Outcome
End-to-end implementation delivered, enabling scaled international operations.
Challenge
A first-time founding team building an AI-powered clinical platform needed to move from concept to funded product, fast. The vision: an end-to-end system supporting care delivery before, during, and after clinical visits across allied health. They needed senior guidance to assemble the right team, validate the architecture, define go-to-market, and present a fundable case to investors, all without a budget for traditional advisory.
Action Taken
Assembled the advisory team spanning healthcare, technology, and business. Advised on use case definition, architecture, and EMR integration. Led delivery governance and guided go-to-market sequencing and investor pitch preparation.
Outcome
Product roadmap validated and first module currently in build, with initial deployment on track. Funding board pitch delivered. Advisory team in place and operating. Program ongoing.

Forged at both ends of the scale.

I’ve spent 25 years inside technology programs, from a Montreal startup where I was the fourth employee to a Big 4 partnership where I built the fastest-growing transformation practice in the firm.

I’ve governed a $500M banking platform modernization across 75 systems. Rescued a stalled national SAP program. Relocated to El Salvador to build a retailer’s first international supply chain. Directed a $7B transit authority’s capital program digitization. Advised Haiti’s Ministry of Health on a national healthcare services platform. Led trilingual teams across four continents.

I built Selva Advisory on something I saw confirmed at every scale: the best advisory work happens when a senior person stays accountable from first conversation to final outcome. No handoffs between thinkers and doers. No layers between the decision and the work. That’s the commitment behind every engagement.
